Packing the Sea with Me.

I started this the time I was really mentally packing the sea with me - during the last days of August as I was preparing to leave I could not stop thinking about the Baltic Sea I am so deeply in my heart connected with.
I didn't finish it that time and a few days ago started working on it again and here is the result.

There is more than just an idea or a sudden thought behind this - if you are born near the sea, it is always hard to go away from it even for a short period of time, not talking about leaving it for months and not seeing it and feeling its breath as often as you used to.

And you can't pack the Sea with you as you go.

I can nearly see the Sea from my parent's house in Normandie and i can understant how u feel when i'm in Paris without seeing it for 2 or 3 months.
Nice idea u had, maybe i'll pack mine too :)

True - I also feel very much connected with the sea and water in general. I like a lot to swim, to surf, to be just in the water. And I was born near the ocean, in the town with the biggest beach and where the biggest river born in Portugal ends.

Now I live near a big river and cross it almost everyday.

I feel I could live away from the ocean but I need to be close to a water stream: river, lake,... I liked very much Prague, Frankfurt, Munich and Geneve because of that also.

Very beautiful work. :)

i love this. It reminds me of when my husband and I went on our honeymoon to South Padre Island and jumped waves together. I wish I could pack it up just like that.........sweet.
