"Mystery and Melancholy of the Avenue of Ghosts and Winds".
The colours,composition,details in this piece thought to be conceptual as they always are intended to be. Avenue: our life`s path,having a lot of alternatives how to go through it: you can go straight, walk going round every or a few trees or hide behind the thickest one and wait.. Ghosts: our secrets,devotions and sacramental thoughts and dreams. Like ghosts they can`t be seen but always being an indispensable fragment of our essence. Winds: our internal wishes and sudden transports we sometimes let loose and sometimes cut short.As we often can`t define the direction of the wind in the air,so we often are not able to determinate which wind is blowing inside of us. Mystery: "A real mystery means nothing either,it is unknowable".(Renč Magritte).Our hearts are infinite and can`t be ever explored entirely. Melancholy: state of the serenity of mind,of the perception of the Present through the prisme of the remembrance of the Past and stepping towards the Future with more and more experience in the hand. The young girl at randevouz with her Love("love"meaning her partner,her future plans,aims and ideas she believes in and is devoted to). These two creatures are ghosts of course. How true this is, we are all made up of so much:
past, present, future, hopes and dreams (both fulfilled and unfulfilled), imagination and potentially limitless potential.
I'm not sure if are hearts are indeed "infinite" but they are certainly so complex and dynamic as to make it impossible to ever isolate any one aspect or fully understand them as a whole.
Fascinating work, trully artistic and beautiful in both notion and presentation.
